- The average gross earnings for a self-employed worker in 2019-20 was ₹10,454 per month, 1.3% higher than a year ago. The average earnings of females was 53% lower than that of their male counterparts.
- The average gross earnings for a salaried worker in 2019-20 was ₹16,728 per month, 5.3% higher than a year ago. The average earnings of females was 22% lower than that of their male counterparts.
- The average gross earnings for a casual labour in 2019-20 was ₹291 per day, in comparison to ₹278 a year ago. The average earnings of females was 36% lower than that of their male counterparts.
